Day 1 of silage box building. So proud of the talent on the Diamond J team. We have excellent equipment operators, mechanics, welders, servicers, records keepers & team players. Big thank you to all of you who make this possible & to our extra special clients who depend on us to consistently do a great job.
Recycling manure & exporting it as fertilizer on your farm land is a great way to capture more real value from nutrients you import on farm. Applying slurry continues to be a high demand service we offer for many good reasons, one of which is that it is a low cost high quality fertilizer source.
Wheat season 2013 complete. Lots of Diamond J veterans! Here is a shot of the team (not pictured Ismael, Jessica, Luciana). We are grateful for each person & know that our success is dependent on their commitment to the dairymen we serve.
500 long x 120 wide beautiful pile of winter forage! 1 of many nice piles this season. Properly sized, shaped & packed piles help reduce shrink & improve quality of fermentation. Great job guys!
Wrapping up for the night.

Our new trainee's have arrived from The Netherlands. It is great how much worldwide exposure and interest we get from people to spend time with our business.

Congratulations to T&C Louters who won 3rd place in the World Ag Expo Mycogen Forage Challenge. Diamond J Farms farmed, planted & harvested this winning crop. Great job everyone!
Farm show week, the whole Jonkman family was there all week (in the form of cardboard cut outs). Oh what fun we had. This year again we brought the entire shop crew to the World Ag Expo to see new innovations, spark ideas & socialize with others in the industry. Great time had by all!
The numbers are in! High density is an example of how we excel in harvesting. Giving this kind of feedback to our customers is how we serve them with the highest degree of honesty, integrity & respect. It takes a team effort to get this level of success! Big thank you to our clients & our Diamond J team!
Winter time maintenance continues. Theo also visited all our open corn silage piles from our clients in order to collect a density sample. High silage density is correlated to reduction in shrink loss, low amounts of spoilage, higher quality fermentation. We are always looking for feedback and measurements like these to help our team improve as well as serve our clients better.
